The clouds that cover the sky, but nature synonym for the haze of holiness, the cloud of glory that would come near his people. It has been seen a time or two. And then, the disciples are standing on the rocky side of a mountain when Jesus ascends before their eyes. He is shrouded in puffy white, carried on clouds, a billowing garment of the heavens, and there are streaks of gray as if to hint at the Pentecostal rain to come. And then he is gone from their site.
And what did the angels tell them? Why stand ye here gazing for the same JESUS that you’ve seen go away shall also come back in like manner. He’s coming in the clouds. So, every day, when you look at those clouds in the sky, that’s evidence of things not seen. Listen now…
