You have to understand that you have to bring forth before you see the bud; don’t get the sequence out of order…don’t look for the success without the seed; spend time in the Word; stay in prayer; build those daily altars. When you fall in love with God you seek more than results, you want to spend time with Him, and what buds out of that is more lasting and eternal in value.

We often talk about people doing what they please; which means there is a sense of selfishness; but when it comes to God, we want Him to do what he pleases because it’s always for our best; there is no better route to redemption; there is no better way to live your life; there is no better way to learn and be blessed by what you learn. And there is no better way to see yourself and others… The blessing exchange. Instead of…powerful words. Instead of the thorn shall come up the myrtle tree…sometimes there is so much bad that has taken place in your life, all you expect is bad the next time. But instead of the bad comes the good; instead of the nightmare comes the fulfillment of a dream. Listen now…

His ways are higher. We are trapped in mazes of fear. Hedges of anxiety surround us and we wonder where we might find the exit. Walls of shame. Blockades of bitterness.

There is certainty about His ascendant knowledge. He knows the whys of what is happening to us.

There is salvation in his knowledge. He knows the way of escape.

God wants you to flourish not fail; he wants you to thrive not just barely survive; you don’t have to walk around crippled by futility and staggering under the influence of past shame; God wants you to expand not live caged in the same ole every day experiences of pain and procrastination; boom in success, not destruction; break forth in achievement rather than being bummed out by another decline in results. Hey, Did you Hear?

The shepherds were in a field near the birthplace. Angels told them where to find the baby. Baby Jesus was in a stable, wrapped in swaddling clothes and laying in the manger. It was just as they were told. How often do we hear something and then it doesn’t live up to expectations? Or, it isn’t anything near what you thought you would see. But when God tells you something, it’s as simple as He said it and it’s as exactly as He said it…listen now.

Movement and Stillness

Sometimes we feel hurried. We are tempted to rush in. But speed is not always the prescription for prosperity and breakthrough. We cannot just be a movement; we must also be a stillness. We need to let God develop certain things for us in the mysteries of stillness, when nothing can be benefited by rushing in to do something prematurely. Exodus 40 reveals this when Moses was unable to enter the tabernacle because the glory cloud hovered on the tent of meeting, and His glory filled the tabernacle. And as long as the cloud was over the tabernacle Israel did not move. Their journeys were based on the moving or the stillness of God’s Presence. Listen now…

Spy Games in the Halls of Darkness

Tricks with the truth. Slight variations of Biblical facts. Subtle distortions of Biblical principles. These days everyone has a new religious thought. Cultic ideas abound. False doctrines proliferate like nuclear warheads. Access to larger audiences by way of social media gives the Gospel both its greatest avenue of End Time exposure, but also its greatest threat of misinformation and twisted doctrines. People are trading dependency on men and women of God who preach the Word for internet scholarship that can be achieved by a few search engines. But knowledge does not dismiss submission to Apostolic authority and God-called Shepherds.

Spies, Lies, and Algorithms, Why US Intelligence Agencies Must Adapt or Fail by Amy Zegart and Michael Morell says, “Cheap and easy access to new technologies has taken away some of the intelligence-gathering advantages that the US had over its adversaries. The proliferation of open-source intelligence, ranging from Google Maps to Twitter, as well as data gathered on private cell phones or with commercial surveillance cameras, enables foreign governments and non-state actors to be better-informed than they have ever been.”

So, basically, spies have easier access than ever before; deception has many more doors to walk through. Deception dice is rolling. Gambling devils are risking it all for one last empire of evil. How many open-source opportunities does the enemy have to your soul? Internet windows. Social networks. Video games. Cultural shaping Hollywood programming. Educational books that ever so slightly change the way you feel about certain passages of the Bible. The fires of conviction are dying out. The passion of making a stand for what is right is now a casual, comfortable seating with new suggestions.

Spies of darkness have always been around. Even Jesus had to deal with pretentious curious Pharisees who covertly tried to catch him in his words. Mark 12:13. Listen now…
