We are tempted to rush in. But speed is not always the prescription for prosperity and breakthrough. We cannot just be a movement; we must also be a stillness. We need to let God develop certain things for us in the mysteries of stillness, when nothing can be benefited by rushing in to do something prematurely. Exodus 40 reveals this when Moses was unable to enter the tabernacle because the glory cloud hovered on the tent of meeting, and His glory filled the tabernacle. And as long as the cloud was over the tabernacle Israel did not move. Their journeys were based on the moving or the stillness of God&#8217;s Presence.
