Hope is an expectation. Something that seems out of reach but could yet be attained. Many are reaching for things in this world that can’t sustain them. It won’t satisfy the spiritual thirst. But Jesus is an anchor that holds. His love for us can keep us from drifting in hatred and self-loathing. His truth can give us surety in an insecure world. Hope means something better is coming. So, no matter what you are facing or what the world may offer you in substitute for your faith, something better is coming. Hold to the truth. Grasp grace. Don’t let go of Biblical principles.
