Gen 8:5  And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. 

  1. Decreased in this context means to decrease in amount as to become negligible. It doesn’t have the ability to harm like it did. It doesn’t have the measure of intimidation it once held. Now think about it, for 150 days it kept getting worse; but then when the decreasing began it kept decreasing until the tenth month. So, for a time it gets worse every day; and then for a time it gets better every day.
  2. At first the only peaks visible were the highest ones on Ararat. But then in the tenth month, the tops of other mountains were seen. If you continue in grace, if you persist in prayer, if you keep walking in the Word, if you maintain your daily principles of righteousness, the waters of defeat will recede. And they will recede to a point to see other victories, hidden peaks of hope and spiritual restoration. You don’t just a one or two victories, but the tops of many mountains, a range of revival.  Listen now…

Awareness must accompany awakening. If we are simply awakened by the noise but have no idea what is taking place, then we don’t really know what to expect. We may not know all the details of God’s design (especially since no man knows the day or the hour the Son of man will return); but we can stay aware to what’s happening in the world and stay awake in the Word. Our discernment should not be blurry. Our eyes should be absent the cataracts of human opinion and our vision should be clear with obedience. We should not be stumbling around in carnality. We should be taking each step with the lamp of truth shining before us. We should be avoiding unnecessary off ramps of human reasoning. We should be throwing off the blindfolds of prayerless blame; we should be maintaining a clearly visible burning passion for the Presence of the Lord. Things will still happen we can’t determine on the clock or human radars, but we should be prepared and maybe even prayer-pared, if you will.

Knowing when something is going to happen is different from being always prepared for any occasion or any event. We are not in darkness. People in darkness don’t care. People in darkness have zero spiritual perception. But the vision of truth is clear and precise. Let us keep our eyes open. Let us keep our hearts pure. Let us keep our altars hot with prayer. Failures you should Never Embrace

Every day mistakes can be made. What will you do with them? Will you let them haunt you until you are too hesitant to make a move? Will you transform them into faith-steps leading to your destiny? Failures will happen, but there a some you should never embrace. When you allow built in failures the chance to tell you what’s going to happen before you even try is quite discouraging. So, refuse their entrance. Lock the door of faith and don’t let them in. Resist the temptation to make excuses before the battle even begins…listen now.
