The blood. This is not just blood loss on the cross; this is a bloodline flowing through time.
The cheap detergents of human reasoning can’t remove sin stain and blemishes of lawlessness. Corrupt cleaners only add more to the deep ruin of society. Unholy institutions that appear to have a good cause but reject the Bible act like they are disinfectants to injustices, but they end up only infecting with more hate, and anger, and vindictiveness, and rage, and destructive behaviors.
A testimony. It is a consecrated testimony. It is a committed testimony. It is a collective testimony. It is consecrated because it was dipped in blood, empowered by the Spirit, and grown like a sacred tree planted by the rivers of water.
A testimony is based on what you see. It is the witness of His resurrection, and it can’t be objected to in the court of the Almighty. This testimony speaks of angels wings shrouding the mercy seat in the OT tabernacle; it speaks of the holy lid covering the God-authored commandments, the miracle rod of Aaron that budded, and the golden pot of manna. This testimony of the Old Testament proved God’s presence among the Israelites; it served notice to heathen enemies that the Highest Power of eternity resided with this people. It summoned fire for sacrificial approval. It received the sprinkled blood of annual atonement. It was more than ornate, golden, Cherubim engraved furniture sitting behind a curtain; it was the essence of the Almighty who rules the Universe.
And that testimony now is not in an Ark of the Covenant but in the church of blood washed saints. That testimony has the evidence of life after death, the evidence of manna in the Word of God that every child of God reads and quotes and lives and prays; the evidence is in the Apostolic ministry that for two thousands years has been chasing devils and poisonous serpents of darkness back to the hell-pits from which they emerged; the evidence in this testimony is…listen now.
